I am a Registered Midwife with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM).

Some insurance companies have extended benefits and do cover visits with an IBCLC. Please check with your insurance provider. We do not do direct billing, but will provide an invoice that you can submit.

MSP in British Columbia covers lactation support by a registered midwife in 6 weeks postpartum with approval from your maternity provider. After you book, we submit the approval documents to your provider. Once we have those back, the visit will be fully covered. If you are over 6 weeks postpartum, please refer to our private options which can be submitted to some insurance companies.
