In Home Visits
Receive personalized, hands-on support in the comfort of your home. Perfect for a prenatal consult to prepare for breastfeeding in your own space, or for postpartum feeding support. We can discuss your space and adjust your home to better support you. MSP and private options.
Prenatal Virtual Consults
Prenatal consults work very well virtually, between 32-38 weeks. We’ll explore your feeding goals, walk through what to expect, and set you up for a smooth and confident start. After your visit, you will receive a PDF summary of our consult together that will help you in the early weeks. Visits can be covered by MSP or private.
Postpartum Virtual Consults
Perfect for follow-ups or for families outside Victoria. During a virtual consultation, we will discuss your questions and make a feeding plan accordingly. We will then follow-up on this plan to make you are making progress and seeing improvement. Virtual consults are a great option for many clients.

I am a Registered Midwife with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

Some insurance companies have extended benefits and do cover visits with an IBCLC. Please check with your insurance provider. We do not do direct billing, but will provide an invoice that you can submit.

MSP in British Columbia covers lactation support by a registered midwife in 6 weeks postpartum with approval from your maternity provider. After you book, we submit the approval documents to your provider. Once we have those back, the visit will be fully covered. If you are over 6 weeks postpartum, please refer to our private options which can be submitted to some insurance companies.

Absolutely. I offer bottle-feeding troubleshooting. Whether your baby is not feeding well on the bottle or you are having a hard time getting in enough volume, I’d be happy to work with you.

We can support a baby with feeding at any age, however our expertise are more in the first 4 months.

You will get a full summary of our conversation in an easy to read PDF with actionable steps to work on before our follow-up where we will continue to progress in the plan. Most of my feeding plans are done in stages.

In this course, geared towards expectant families, I walk you through how to prepare to feed your baby and what to expect in the first few weeks. We will also discuss troubleshooting common issues and how a support person or partner can help.
